This year, the JUNO Collaboration (neutrino experiment in South China) awarded internal prizes for young scientists for the first time.
Christoph Genster, whom we still know well as a master's student at the institute and who subsequently did his doctoral thesis in the joint research group with Prof. Livia Ludhova in Jülich, received the first doctoral student prize. The certificate was presented to him at the JUNO collaboration meeting on 14 January in Nanning. In the photo he is the tallest next to the two postdocs, who also received a prize for young researchers.
