From March 2 to 4, the neutron group tested their detectors for radiography with fast neutrons at the Paul Scherrer Institute in Villigen, Switzerland. Nina Höflich and Christoph Günther tested different detectors at the deuterium-deuterium neutron generator. The generator produces about 10 million neutrons per second with an energy of 2.5 MeV. We have recorded many hundreds of millions of events with different detectors and absorbers between the generator and the detector. Now the exciting time of data evaluation begins. We are very grateful for the hospitality of the group around Robert Adams (ETH Zurich), who made these tests possible.
