TRIPLE field test on the Aletsch glacier

In the period from 24.03 to 07.04 a TRIPLE team of our institute is performing a field test with EnEx-AsGAr at the Aletsch glacier in Switzerland. At an altitude of 3450 m a.s.l. Jan Audehm and Mia Do support the radar measurements planned by EnEx-AsGAr with melting probes by melting several deep holes in the snow and ice. These melting probes will also be used to perform acoustic measurements to optimize the TRIPLE-FRS sonar system.
