10 years Higgs boson
On Monday, the physics group celebrated the discovery of the Higgs boson ten years ago. More than 200 visitors took the opportunity to learn about current developments in the field of Higgs Boson research at CERN and RWTH Aachen University. Three short talks by Prof. Robert Harlander, Prof. Lutz Feld and Prof. Johannes Erdmann recalled the exciting time of the discovery, emphasized the importance of the discovery and explained current and future research goals. The evening was rounded off by a poster exhibition and exhibits presented by enthusiastic researchers from the participating institutes.
