Excursion Astropeiler Stockert

On 21.11.2021, the participants of the laboratory lab course in astronomy went on an excursion to the Stockert Astropeiler. All participants were able to visit the telescope and were shown the measurements of radio waves from space by the expert guidance of Mr Hermann and his Stockert team. Selected students spent the afternoon conducting experiments to measure the rotational velocity of the Milky Way, among other things. Analysis follows ...
